These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Dude, Let’s Go (the “App” or “Service”), a mobile application for social coordination that includes live chat, optional location sharing, and profile photos, operated by Dude, Let’s Go (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required by local law, including under the GDPR where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the in-app account settings or by contacting us. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data that we are not legally required to retain. This meets Apple App Store and Google Play requirements. Content you previously shared with other users (e.g., delivered chat messages) may remain visible to them.
The Service enables social coordination via live chat, optional location sharing, and profile photos. Some locations users may share involve remote, outdoor, or hazardous environments. Optional user-organized tasks or activities may involve physical risk. Participation in any real-world activity coordinated through the Service is voluntary and entirely at your own risk.
We are a platform only. We do not organize, guide, supervise, or verify the safety of any location or activity.
“User Content” includes chat messages, shared locations, profile photos, and any other content you submit.
Prohibited Conduct includes harassment, threats, illegal activity, sharing explicit or harmful content, impersonation, spamming, reverse-engineering the App, or using the Service in ways that endanger others.
Location sharing is optional and requires your explicit permission (device permission + in-app consent). We collect location data only when you actively choose to share it for coordination features. We do not use location solely for advertising or analytics.
You can disable location sharing at any time in device settings or the App. We recommend “while using the app” / foreground access.
Shared locations may include dangerous outdoor or remote areas. Always exercise independent judgment, prepare properly, and do not rely on the App or other users for safety advice.
Some locations and optional tasks coordinated via the Service involve inherent risks of serious injury, disability, death, or property damage.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS, known and unknown, associated with any real-world activity you choose to undertake after using the Service. You release, waive, and discharge us, our officers, employees, agents, and other users from any and all claims arising from your participation, to the maximum extent permitted by law (including ordinary negligence where allowed). This does not waive liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot be waived under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, conduct, or participation in activities coordinated through the Service. A separate detailed Assumption of Risk and Release form may be presented before certain high-risk features.
The App, its software, design, and original content (excluding User Content) are owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY LOCATION OR ACTIVITY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR SAFE.
We make no representations about the safety, legality, or suitability of any user-shared location or activity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES COORDINATED THROUGH IT.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including under the GDPR or consumer protection laws).
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the App or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. The current version will always be available in the App and on our website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The App is distributed via the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. Your use is also subject to the respective platform’s terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms. To the extent required by Apple’s standard EULA, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of certain provisions.
